BAZAAR Fragrance Awards 2017: Most Sensual Fragrance

Cartier La Panthère Eau de Parfum Légère, RM380 (100ml)

Notes: A younger, lighter version of the original La Panthère, Cartier La Panthère Eau de Parfum Légère is also composed by in-house perfumer Mathilde Laurent. Predominantly gardenia-based like the La Panthère, the surprise is in the tropical tiare flower, which makes the sweet heart of the scent. Around the gentle velvety flower comes notes of musk, oakmoss, patchouli, and leather that add facets to this luxurious fragrance.

Did You Know? La Panthère was the nickname of Jeanne Toussaint, Cartier’s creative director of jewellery from 1933 until 1970, who was famously resolute, creative, and had a soft spot for feline prints. She was discovered by Louis Cartier, with whom she had a significant and lifelong relationship.
