Chanel created a snow-covered winter wonderland for its autumn/winter 2019 show, showcasing a monochromatic collection co-designed by Virginie Viard and the late, great Karl Lagerfeld.

In true Chanel style, each and every detail was elegantly executed, not least the hairstyles by the fashion house’s go-to hairstylist Sam McKnight.

While many of the models wore hats matching their suits (including Cara Delevingne, above), others revealed unfussy but feminine romantic hairstyles which were centre-parted and secured half-up. Nearly all featured delicate hair accessories.
