Lela Loren Walks Us Through Her Nighttime Skin Routine

A long press day for her show "Power" on Starz calls for a ton of makeup, but actress Lela Loren can't sleep with any trace of products on. "The first thing I always use is these wonderful Neutrogena wipes," she says. "I have stacks of these at home." She goes through two or three wipes a night just to get her makeup off, then it's time for cleansing.

Since her skin tends to be dry, Loren likes to use products that are gentle and won't strip her natural oils. The Kiehl's Midnight Recovery Cleansing oil is her go-to for removing makeup without over-drying her skin. "Now that everything's clean, I really love this line by Dr. Dennis Gross," she says while holding up the brand’s Ferulic and Retinol eye serum. "I just pat it under the eye. What I like to do particularly if I've traveled a lot, I was just coming back from Europe and I'm jetlagged, I like to double it up with these really great eye patches. I put them on and let them seal the product in. At the same time they have this really wonderful cooling gel to them."

Loren then reaches for a peel pad, which she works all over her face, neck, and chest. "It's exfoliating, it's anti-aging, it's really great for fine lines and pigmentation," she says. "I avoid my eyebrows because it will apparently lighten them overtime."

Because she uses so many anti-aging products in her routine, Loren doesn't need a traditional moisturizer. Instead, she mixes a tiny dab of the Tata Harper Resurfacing Mask with a few drops of a Calendula oil to create a super-hydrating overnight treatment.
