#TrendingNow: Bold Animal Prints

As far as comebacks go, the season’s MVP is the bold and dramatic leopard print. But leave seductive corsets and bodycon dresses at home; instead, look to the ’60s and channel your inner Left Bank mod. In New York, model Caroline Vreeland paid homage to Brigitte Bardot’s jet-set style by pairing a leopard-print trench with matching thigh-high boots, while Giovanna Battaglia Engelbert’s eclectic take saw heritage tartans thrown into the mix at Paris Fashion Week. The key to this look? Balancing out proportions with short hemlines and risqué thigh-grazing boots. Still, those with a gamine predisposition should look no further than Bergdorf Goodman’s Linda Fargo for inspiration: a well-tailored suit and go-go boots make for a powerful combination, as do flared leopard-print trousers worn with a leather moto jacket. Très Françoise Hardy, et très très chic.
