The stars descended on Los Angeles to celebrate the very best of film and television at the Golden Globes on Sunday (7 January), and those inspired to experience the destinations seen on screen needn't travel quite as far for a film-inspired holiday as some of the best new movie locations are found closer to home.

London: Olivia Colman, The Favourite (Best Actress, Musical or Comedy)

Taking the crown for her portrayal as Queen Anne in one of this year’s most talked about films, Olivia Colman was among Hollywood’s own royalty when she took home the gong for Best Actress (Musical or Comedy) at the Golden Globes. Hampton Court Palace welcomed the film’s cast and crew during the spring of 2017, with key filming locations including Henry VIII’s Kitchens, the Cartoon Gallery and Fountain Court – all of which are open to the public and included in a day admission ticket to the palace.
