Coco Capitán x CHARLES & KEITH Capsule Collection

Following their previous collaborations with designers Shushu/Tong and Cecilie Bahnsen, CHARLES & KEITH introduce an art-inspired collection with renowned Spanish-born artist Coco Capitán. “Our team worked closely with Capitán to create this capsule collection that reflects her cool-girl attitude. These pieces, paired with her poignant prose, are perfect collector’s items for art lovers and the fashion forward crowd,” shares Fredie Stevens, Design Director of CHARLES & KEITH.

Known worldwide for her poetic musings and artworks, Capitán has teamed up with the brand to create a capsule collection that explores complex emotions and celebrates individuality. Merging the world of art and fashion, Capitán’s works are featured extensively across androgynous and structured silhouettes to create a contemporary capsule imbued with the artist’s personality and the brand’s elegant design aesthetic. Elsewhere, the brand’s san serif logo is replaced with the artist’s signature script.

Inspired by the French game “He loves me, he loves me not,” the all-black capsule with embroidered words and flowers symbolises a hope to survive against adversity. The exclusive collection consists of two unique items: the Perline Chunky Penny Loafers and the Perline Double Handle Sculptural Tote Bag that are heavily embellished with Capitán’s distinctive prose and vivacious blue daisies. The deliberate and uneven stitching of the embroidered motifs offer whimsical spontaneity and personality to the pieces and to the wearer. Wear the loafers with a midi dress or a timeless tee and jean combo, and finish the look with the tote bag for a youthful and carefree style that’s sure to leave you feeling joyful.
