This time, the world-renowned brand is proud to announce the launch of its latest leather-crafted Distinct line, a material that the brand used in its early days before introducing aluminium.

To commemorate the launch of this stunning new line, RIMOWA chose the Musée Soulages in Rodez, France, as the perfect backdrop to capture the collection amidst the renowned works of Pierre Soulages. This calls for an iconic feat for the German Maison as they are the first brand to do so.

The campaign pays tribute to the abstract artist’s compositions and his decades-long career as a craftsman, which is a shared value with RIMOWA.

Staying true to the brand’s spirit of continuous innovation, the Distinct line marks a new era of production with the use of leather.

What sets this line apart from the classics is that the elegant suitcase is wrapped in leather using a precise technique, maintaining its shape and featuring RIMOWA’s signature grooves. As for the interior, the range features a black lining adorned by Rimowa’s monogram in jacquard. You can also spot RIMOWA’s flex divider enriched with leather trimmings to compress belongings, while the other side features a zipped compartment and a gusseted flap pocket.

This new line also boasts corners and a logo badge made of aluminium, protective bumpers on the rear shell, and a sophisticated leather and aluminium design contrasted with silver rivets, a metallic zipper, and a zipper puller, offering an industrial aesthetic.

Dedicated to adventurers and fashion darings, the luggage is available in a sophisticated black and navy hue, both suitable for men and women.

Not straying away from the classics, the Distinct line of RIMOWA suitcases comes with the brand’s signature features, including an adjustable telescopic handle, comfortable leather handles, and the innovative RIMOWA Multiwheel® System. The wheels have cushioned axles and ball bearings, making steering easy and stable for long-haul adventures. Additionally, each suitcase comes with a leather luggage tag in a matching colour, which can be customised to your liking.
