Lisa and Saoirse Ronan embody soft power in Louis Vuitton’s SS25 campaign
With puffed sleeves, cinched waists, and architectural silhouettes, the Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2025 collection is brimmed with unique shapes, details, and structures. Embracing fluidity, the collection is a hallmark of femininity and soft power. Pulling out all the stops, the French Maison allures us with the collection by presenting their house ambassadors Lisa and Saoirse Ronan front and centre in the fashion campaign—depicted as contemporary portraits within the paintings of French artist Laurent Grasso—essentially works of art rendered in the style of the Renaissance.
Shot by Steven Meisel the fashion campaigns exude warmth and allure. Wearing iconic sartorial pieces from the collection and the SS25 show, the musician and actress are portrayed beautifully in this melding of past and present. “For the campaign, three new works from his series Studies into the Past introduce another surrealistic phenomenon, the black rectangle, reshaping the boundaries of a pristine, untouched nature, and extend across the backdrop while Lisa and Saoirse Ronan exude a self-assured warmth,” said Louis Vuitton.
