Nine Perfect Strangers
Based on The New York Times best-selling book by author Liane Moriarty, Nine Perfect Strangers centres around a group of rich strangers who check into a luxurious wellness retreat called Tranquillum House. Run by Masha (played by Nicole Kidman), her “methods” and techniques of healing her clients have brought up some questions regarding her retreat.
Enlightened
Just like The White Lotus, Enlightened was created by Mike White, too. With themes surrounding self-help and meditation, the series follows Amy Jellicoe (Laura Dern) as she attempts to transform her life after a breakdown at work. After a two-month stay at a wellness retreat, she finds herself motivated with a new perspective on life through inner healing. However, she later decides to rejoin her company at the bottom of the ladder, plotting her way to make a change in the lives of others.
The Resort
Fuelled with drama and mystery, The Resort follows a strained married couple, Noah and Emma, as they celebrate their 10th anniversary at a resort on the Mayan Riviera. Putting their marriage to the test, the couple finds themselves getting involved in an unsolved mystery of two missing tourists that goes back 15 years.
