Meet Cartier’s of-the-moment icons—time masterpieces that have form, character and heritage.
Every Spring, Geneva transforms into the nucleus of horological splendour for Watches and Wonders, and this year has proven to be a gleaming spectacle of heritage, creativity and artisanal craftsmanship. Within the bounties of glimmering and enchanting marvels, a few jewellery watches have stolen our hearts, bridging the gap between haute horlogerie and high jewellery. From Cartier’s Panthère de Cartier watch to the Panthère Bangle and the Tressage watch, these novelties eschew the voluptuousness of art nouveau while punctuating the Maison’s identity as a jewellery perennial. Surely to be a firm favourite of the fashion cognoscenti, style tastemakers and watch aficionados, there’s no shortage of style for these timekeepers.
Spruce up your wardrobe with Cartier’s 2025 icons:
Panthère de Cartier
A signature of the Parisian house since the 1980s, the Panthère is an indisputable icon for the Maison. So, it’s no surprise that the Maison rolled out a new variation that plays up both the jewellery and watch aspects. A true masterpiece, the reimagined watch opted for an abstract coat of animal prints—neither entirely zebra nor entirely tiger—from dial to bracelet. Doused with over 400 brilliant-cut diamonds, the Panthère de Cartier watch embraces abundance, vibrancy and sophistication. This is truly a collector’s item for the discerning Cartier allocator.
Panthère Bangle
Full of character and ready to pounce, this work of art emphasises the panther as the precious character of the collection. Featuring a three-dimensional panther, a ‘Toi & Moi’ bracelet, the Maison’s emblematic feline on one side and a delicate watch on the other, the Panthère Bangle illustrates power and loyalty. In yellow or white gold, you can choose a panther with tsavorite eyes or one bedecked with emerald eyes. What makes it even more special is the gleaming diamonds that decorate it, 23 or 100 brilliant-cut diamonds that showcase the splendour of gemstones.
The Tressage
Honouring the legacy of Jeanne Toussaint, the first female creative director at Cartier, the Maison defies conventions with the brilliant Tressage. “Neither a bangle nor a leather strap, Tressage continues to explore that unique and atypical territory so dear to Cartier— watches of a third kind, a true fusion of watchmaking and jewellery,” said Marie-Laure Cérède, Creative Director of Jewellery and Watchmaking. Showcasing a dynamic interplay of texture and colours, Cartier unveiled four timepieces that beautifully speak to the savoir-faire of Cartier’s heritage. Whether bedecked in yellow gold and a black dial, pushing the boundaries with a blue strap, or decorated with two twists of gold and diamonds, each piece reveals beauty and opulence.
