Bag of the Month: Valentino Garavani Viva Superstar Bag

As we embrace a new month, it’s time to welcome new beginnings. Introducing the Valentino Garavani Viva Superstar Bag.

With something just as iconic as the Nellcôte and Vain bags, Maison Valentino’s latest chapter welcomes another signature silhouette: the Viva Superstar Bag.

Introduced in a campaign conceived by Creative Director Alessandro Michele and photographed by Drew Vickers, the imagery displays a series of cinematic black-and-white shots that capture a woman (and the bag) in motion. Take a glance and you’ll notice a dose of sophistication with a touch of mystery.

Obscured with the Viva Superstar Bag, the campaign takes us through a mysterious escape. Whether she’s striding or hiding in the shadows, the bag takes centre stage. With the bag on display, it’s hard not to notice the oversized VLogo–channelling a retro-inspired spirit of the ‘70s.

This season, the bag is elevated with a new colour palette – a contrasting tone of red and deep black. However, other variations, such as optical butter white with black, and a rich mix of black and brown, are also available for those who are neutral-obsessed. Taking functionality and flair one step further, the silhouettes also unveil a compact crossbody camera case (with chain and leather shoulder straps) and a belt bag.

Catered for all, your favourite stars like Freen Sarocha, Jeff Satur, and Laufey are seen striding with confidence too.
