Our adventure this month brought us to visit Malaysia’s blow-dry bar, COCOdry’s newest outlet—Suria KLCC. However, this blow-dry bar is no stranger to any beauty enthusiast. Founder Kim May Chee has built a community by helping women feel confident, inside and out. Since the launch of her first COCOdry in Bangsar, and later expanding to Publica and Platinum Park, the beauty parlour flourished by adding hair treatments, haircuts, nail services and more—proving that the establishment goes beyond any basic blow dry bar.
Nestled within ISETAN Suria KLCC, you’ll find that COCOdry has claimed a humble corner within the department store. Not only will this ease your mornings or offer you a sweet escape in between work, but it’s also about bringing out your best self amidst the chaos. Moreover, the Muslim-friendly rooms create an inviting atmosphere where you can indulge your hair care rituals—be it a luxurious treatment or a wash and blow.

During our visit, we proceeded with the 90-minute COCOscalp treatment. It’s important to take note that every treatment is uniquely tailored to your specific scalp issues, be it dandruff, hair loss, a greasy scalp, or a dry scalp. And let’s face it, having a little R&R for the scalp is like a sweet everlasting bliss.
Once you’re comfortably seated, their highly skilled staff will initiate the session by inquiring about your concerns. They will then meticulously curate the right products for your treatment. A thorough scalp scan is then conducted to assess the health of your scalp, hair follicles, and address issues such as product buildup, dandruff, excess oil, and more. Once the issue is identified, they will explain the treatment plan based on the diagnosis, ensuring you are well-informed and confident in the process.
The most comforting aspect of COCOdry’s treatments is their reliance on nature’s goodness. Their treatments are plant-based, harnessing the power of essential oils, natural actives, and scalp care tools such as bio light, nano spray, and frequency combs. These elements work in harmony to stimulate and restore your scalp to its healthiest state. While your treatment may differ from others, the result remains the same—a cleaner and healthier scalp that will leave you feeling reassured and confident. It’s advisable to undergo this treatment once a month, but for serious cases, a recommended time will be advised by the friendly staff.
