From Senior Secret Love to The Gifted, can you guess which TV or movie character holds a special place in Nanon’s heart?
BAZAAR was lucky enough to catch Thai superstar Korapat Kirdpan, better known as Nanon, at Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore. He is in town to celebrate the opening of Coach’s new dining concept in one of the most famous airports in the world. As he gets a preview of The Coach Restaurant, his fans have already formed a small crowd outside, waiting patiently to catch a glimpse of him.

In the last decade, the Thai actor, singer, and model has amassed a fiercely loyal, global fanbase. Starting out with smaller roles on Hormones 2 and Ugly Duckling Series: Don’t, he has worked his way into leading roles in some of the region’s most beloved TV series and movies, such as The Gift, My Dear Loser, Senior Secret Love, and Blacklist. Beyond that, he has also made a name for himself as a successful singer and TV host, cementing his place in Southeast Asia’s entertainment industry.
Ahead of The Coach Restaurant’s exclusive launch party, we carve out a quiet moment with Nanon, where we discuss his career, his style, and his favourite Thai phrase.

What is a Thai phrase everyone should know?
Thai people have many words and slang that we will update everyday! A simple phrase to know is yim yer yer, which means (always be) smiling.
Of all the TV or movie characters you’ve played, which one resembles your real-life personality the most?
This is such a hard question… Maybe Oh, who I played in My Dear Loser (2017). Like him, I’m a little bit shy. I can sometimes be a fighter, or a loser, or a lover! I think Oh is a very human character to me.
As a friend of Coach, how would you describe your personal style?
I have a look that is comfortable, relaxed, and cool.
What is something you always carry in your Coach bag?
I always have one notebook. When I have ideas for music or series, I will always develop it in this notebook. But you caught me on a day that I didn’t bring it with me!
