Inside the Dom Pérignon and Takashi Murakami Champagne Collection

A Spirited Fusion of Art and Celebration.

Dom Pérignon’s latest creative chapter arrives just in time for the holidays, offering more than a toast to the season—it’s a celebration of artistry, imagination, and time itself. The Maison continues its legacy of collaboration by joining forces once again with renowned Japanese artist Takashi Murakami for a limited-edition release that redefines the intersection of champagne and contemporary art.

Dom Pérignon and Takashi Murakami reunite for a limited-edition champagne collection release.

The collaboration introduces two special designs for the 2025 season: Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015 and Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2010. Each bottle captures Murakami’s unmistakable visual universe—vivid, playful, and layered with meaning—while embodying Dom Pérignon’s devotion to creation and reinvention. It’s the kind of collectible that invites admiration long after the last glass has been poured, making it a lively addition to any festive table or a standout keepsake for art aficionados.

At the heart of this partnership lies a shared philosophy between Dom Pérignon’s Chef de Cave, Vincent Chaperon, and Murakami himself: that tradition is not static, but a dialogue that bridges generations. Both creators treat heritage as something fluid—a transmission of knowledge that evolves through time.

“Through my collaboration with Dom Pérignon, I wanted to express a form of time travel. My goal is to remain relevant in 100 or 200 years and to transcend time. When the label has aged, and I am gone, and my children are gone, I hope that people in the future, when they see it, will reimagine 2025 in their own minds,” shares Murakami.

This isn’t the first time Murakami has transformed luxury into a canvas for his imagination. Known for his signature “Superflat” aesthetic, the artist has lent his joyful motifs to collaborations with Louis Vuitton, Hublot, and even Pharrell Williams—each project blending pop culture with fine art in a way that’s instantly recognisable and distinctly collectible. His partnership with Dom Pérignon continues this legacy, merging two worlds driven by a shared pursuit of excellence and emotion.
