January/February 2025

We entered the new year with a touch of romance and a refreshing wardrobe reboot. In our cover spread, there were dreamy silhouettes and highland textures for a touch of the romantic, inspired by a resurgence in all things boho chic. The dreamy romance continued in our Beauty pages, as we turn to rosy blooms to inspire an edit of striking make-up looks, followed by the ultimate curation of our top lip gloss picks. For those re-evaluating their wardrobe, cosy statement coats and sporty sets in neutral hues made for great long-term investments. Then, we escaped to our favourite wellness destinations within South East Asia. The Year of the Wood Snake also welcomed a selection of jewellery and watches that pay tribute to the serpent. Additionally, a different kind of celebration began just as we were ringing in the new year—Louis Vuitton released the 20-year anniversary re-edition collection of its partnership with artist Takashi Murakami.
March 2025

Class was in session. For Spring/Summer ’25, the fashion curriculum saw designers re-evaluating women’s codes of dressing. From new silhouettes and experiments in styling to softer power dressing, and revisions on bohemia and underwear as outerwear, our Collections Report had it all covered! We took notes on the season’s beauty trends—bold femininity, statement eyeliner, chrome accents. Speaking of bold femininity, our cover talent, Malaysian model Cyii Cheng spoke about her evolution from model to celebrated fashion entrepreneur while Levi’s gave us an exclusive interview with design director Paul O’Neill as they embark on a quest to make denim elegant.
April 2025

Zendaya fronted the sakura-centred second chapter of the Louis Vuitton x Murakami collab; Jisoo embodied girl-next-door Americana in Tommy Hilfiger while Rebecca “Becky” Armstrong made pastels look edgy in Chanel. And that’s what you missed in the spring time! We also directed our gaze to a new generation of independent designers set to redefine the possibilities of couture and ready-to-wear, from the singular viewpoints of Willy Chavarria, Christopher John Rogers and Hodakova to the innovative aesthetics of Asian provocateurs the likes of Rahul Mishra, Gaurav Gupta and Miss Sohee. Beauty then gave us some food for thought with beauty products infused with wholesome ingredients. Jewellery went through some reinvention this month, while we talk to Bertrand Mak of Sauvereign on their architectural bespoke red carpet pieces.
May 2025

The Spring/Summer’25 collections went out of its way to have some kooky fun. In May 2025, that exuberant spirit found its way to this issue. We went mad for maximalism, then paid homage to fashion renegades who break the rules of fashion to come into their own personal style. Our cover star, model-actor Rita Nadira stepped into the light as she navigates her career between the runway and the TV set. Our beauty section highlighted lip gloss, and we went through some of our favourites, followed by a comprehensive dive into our top picks of fragrances to explore. In Jewellery & Watches, striking creations paid homage to nature’s poetry as Audemars Piguet opened doors to a new AP House in Singapore. Not to be outdone, Rolex took everyone by surprise with the exciting release of a completely new watch. Elsewhere, we celebrated the fun side of design as key fashion maisons take over Milan Design Week with the wittiest if not most elegant furniture and homeware pieces designed to elevate your interiors and bring out the joy in everyday home life.
June/July 2025

From beach-ready raffia bags to soft silhouettes fit for tropical getaways, summer fashion was something to behold. The bra returned as a go-to staple for the summer wardrobe. Meanwhile, in Jewellery & Watches, classic timepieces were refreshed with new dials, sizes and colours as we followed Malaysian influencer Ameera Khan to the South of France for a night of glamour at the launch of a new high jewellery collection from Dior. This was also the time of the year when we go mad for beauty—the BAZAAR Beauty Awards returned, bigger than ever, with more than 200 picks of our favourites to consider for your vanity table. The beauty journey continued as we take you to some of the best wellness spots in London, then succumbed to the soothing vibes of a good sound bath. Speaking of soothing sounds, Indonesian vocalist Raisa wandered through the sun-lit streets of Paris as she opens up about allowing honesty to flow through her music.
August 2025

South Korean actor Suzy showed us how to pull off effortless modern elegance, dressed in Celine Autumn ’25. In our cover story, she took us into her personal thoughts. In Style, we discovered that the Pre-Fall ’25 collections were exercising authentic storytelling through purposeful tailoring: Gucci and Self-portrait updated retro silhouettes to serve swagger; Valentino invited us to find magic in mundane moments; Ferragamo defied practicality with perfect poise, while Balenciaga showcased clothes in their purest forms to decode comfort. Elsewhere, high jewellery collections continued to enchant as they interpret heritage codes into modern masterpieces . Then in Beauty, fragrance was on the agenda as we interviewed perfumers from Hermès, Henry Jacques and Malay Perfumery on the inspiration behind their scents.
September 2025

Rebellion is this month’s key theme, in a way that subverts the idea of traditional elegance and classic silhouettes. In this season’s runway collections, we see a reinterpretation of the hour-glass silhouette, told through big shoulders, nipped waists and exaggerated hips, but in power suits, not evening wear. Maximalist styling encourages our personality to shine through, with eccentric layering of unexpected textures and garments. Everything unfolds in our Autumn/Winter ’25 Collections Report. We also welcome brighter colours for the colder months and a reimagining of the crisp white button-up in all its versatile style expressions. Speaking of versatility, style savant Heart Evangelista oozes edgy glamour in high jewellery selections from Tiffany & Co., as she finds creative freedom upon turning 40 this year. In Beauty, we turn to rave culture to inspire sleek party looks, then talk to Academy Award-winning actors Nicole Kidman and Natalie Portman on how their roles as beauty ambassadors echo their approach to films. Elsewhere, in Escape, we board the new Orient Express to explore the romance of Rome and Venice while Longchamp trades Parisian pavements for Italian sands with the debut of its beach club.
October 2025

Fashion galloped into the wild frontier this month, with wool dresses and luxe knits that took glamour to the great outdoors. In our cover story, model Elana Nair, a fresh face to the scene, channelled modern prairie princess in looks from Ralph Lauren as she opens up about her love for psychology, moody films and her personal community. From pastoral horizons, we then shot to the stars with a selection of timepieces that honour moon phases: entrepreneur Jane Chuck controlled her narrative with Audemars Piguet by her side while actor Jennifer Lawrence took in the elegance of the Longines Prima Luna. Elsewhere, Louis Vuitton gave us a horological masterpiece complete with an animated lunar landing, Cartier proposed an exciting new definition of Love. Fashion legacy was another recurring theme this month: Fendi looked back on its century-old heritage of leather accessories, while Tiffany & Co. hosted its very first exhibition in Bangkok, with a dedicated showcase on the fantastical works of Jean Schlumberger. In Beauty, actor Jenna Ortega talked all things lipstick, and we took inspiration from Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter and Jennie Blackpink to serve you some iconic looks to try.
November 2025

Breathe in, breathe out. Our BAZAAR Wellness Awards guided us through the best destinations for rejuvenation. From cutting-edge aesthetic clinics and salons with advanced treatments to keep you looking your best, to island escapes and luxurious spas to help you find your centre, we had it all covered. Speaking of island getaways, the Cruise collections invited us into a wardrobe of fantasy romance and Old Hollywood glamour while we peeked into the vanity cases of our favourite beauty insiders to uncover their travel must-haves. Then, Jewellery felt especially magical. We spoke exclusively to Nathalie Verdeille, chief artistic officer of Tiffany & Co., who freed the classic Bird on A Rock from its perch, as Cartier heeded the call of its animal kingdom while Dior took us through the seasons in wearable dioramas. Fashion took on an artistic route: Murakami brings his flair to this year’s Artcapucines collection from Louis Vuitton, the Andy Warhol Foundation collaborated on a special edition timepiece with Piaget, while sculptural silhouettes and sumptuous velvets had us asking, “Is fashion a mirror or a window to life?”
December 2025

The year may have been coming to a close but the excitement in the world of fashion and beauty was still going full steam ahead with an endless schedule of celebrations to take us fabulously into the new year. Chanel brought its Cruise collection—and Tilda Swinton—to Singapore, Cartier unveiled its latest high jewellery chapter in Beijing while Swarovski celebrated more than a century of fashion and film legacy in Los Angeles. Naturally, the gifting season invited a bevy of beauty collectibles to add to shopping lists while bags ran the gamut from classic favourites to artistic showstoppers to accompany personal adventures. Speaking of artistry, timepieces trended towards the superlative, going from audacious to avant-garde. We also embaredk on a Mediterranean odyssey aboard the lavish Explora I cruise ship.
