Are you ready for another season of toxicity? Because we are.
Fifteen months after season two’s finale, Tell Me Lies returns for its highly anticipated third season. Adapted from Carola Lovering’s novel, the series chronicles what its creators call a “twisted modern love story.” For the uninitiated: the show traces a volatile yet magnetic relationship as it unfolds over the course of 8 years. Per an official synopsis from Hulu, the television adaptation will follow “a tumultuous but intoxicating relationship” between the two main characters, Lucy Albright (Grace Van Patten) and Stephen DeMarco (Jackson White). The series sees how the toxic relationship transpires and how being at a “formative age when seemingly mundane choices lead the way to irrevocable consequences.” It’s a show about obsession, deception and the intoxicating pull of relationships that are as destructive as they are irresistible
