Longchamp Embraces Year of the Horse With the Le Roseau

Gallop into the New Year with a chic addition to your wardrobe.

Success, freedom and embracing adventures are the three things that signify the Year of the Horse. As we gallop into the new year, Longchamp’s Lunar New Year “Riding the Spring Breeze” campaign embodies perfection in every way. Drawing inspiration from the Year of the Horse, the capsule collection infuses a touch of gold into the Longchamp emblem. With carmine and burgundy making a splash in the collection, it’s a stylish way to embrace the colours associated with vitality, protection and renewal. Glorifying the auspicious rich hues, the signature Le Roseau bag takes centre stage with an updated look.

Inside Longchamp’s Lunar New Year capsule collection:

Starring model Cici Xiang, the campaign shines bright with enchanting visuals beautifully brought to life by photographer Leslie Zhang and a score by François Villevieille of Musique 1983 Production. As you browse, the kaleidoscopic realm invites you into a world of equine charm, offering a nostalgic journey back to the innocence of childhood. Set against a backdrop of a pristine blue sky and lush green fields, the campaign is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to spring’s homecoming.

At the heart of this collection lies the signature Le Roseau bag, beautifully reimagined in two silhouettes crafted from smooth calfskin. If you take a closer look, you’ll notice that the bag’s signature gold-toned bamboo clasp is elegantly paired with an updated bow detail. Adored for its practicality, you’ll be able to flaunt it as a top-handle or as a crossbody—perfect for reunion dinners and house visiting during the festivities.

To complete the collection, the French Maison also unveiled two charming leather accessories: an envelope-style pouch and a cardholder—a nod to the traditional red envelopes (angpow) exchanged during the Chinese New Year. Adding to the whimsical allure is a silk ribbon adorned with an equestrian motif and a fluffy horse-shaped key ring, an absolute chic way to embrace the lucky charm.
