NikeSKIMS sets the barre with its latest release.
The balletcore trend is still going strong–especially now that it is endorsed by Blackpink’s Lisa, who famously made the Kasing Lung’s labubu dolls a global phenomenon. This time, the k-pop star fronts NikeSKIMS’s Spring 2026, featuring the first head-to-toe system of dress, with footwear, apparel and accessories inspired by the modern ballerina. This latest release offers five apparel collections “representing grace in motion and strength in form”, designed for “everyday performance and style”, according to the brand.
“The NikeSKIMS Spring 2026 Collection is designed to make women feel confident and feminine,” says Jamie Jeffries, Vice President of Global Apparel at Nike. “We’ve paid attention to every detail — from style and function to comfort — so every piece works together seamlessly. By combining Nike’s expertise in performance innovation with SKIMS’s inclusive fit and sculpting technologies, we’re delivering something truly unique for women everywhere.”

Each apparel collection centres around a specific material that both brands have become known for: Matte, Stretch Knit, Ribbed Seamless, Weightless Layers and Woven Nylon. The Matte collection includes smooth, sculpting pieces with Dri-FIT technology and two levels of compression. Stretch Knit offers styles that lightweight with a flattering drape. The Ribbed Seamless collection includes soft and stretchy ribbed styles with a vintage wash and moisture-wicking tech. Weightless Layers pieces are semi-sheer and ultra-lightweight, featuring quick-dry tech. Woven Nylon offers relaxed third layers designed for softness, function and movement.

A highlight of this launch is the introduction of the NikeSKIMS Rift Satin footwear. It features the iconic tabi-toe design of the original Nike Rift, a sleek strap across the midfoot for quick entry and a secure fit, a soft satin upper material, a minimalist midsole and a textured logo outsole. The NikeSKIMS Rift Satin will be available in two colours: Silt Red and Black.

Alongside professional ballerinas, Lisa brings the collection to life in a campaign film, shot in Paris and directed by Sergio Reis. She was chosen for her multi-hyphenate status as a dancer, singer, rapper, and actress; as a performer. “When I’m performing, it’s all about looking great while still being able to move and dance,” says Lisa. “The NikeSKIMS collection is so comfortable and light that I feel confident wearing it everywhere—from rehearsals to traveling or even relaxing at home. It’s easy to move in, looks amazing, and fits perfectly into my everyday life.”
Watch k-pop star, Lisa from Blackpink, dance her heart out in the new NikeSKIMS campaign.
NikeSKIMS will be available online and in select Nike, SKIMS and partner retail locations across North America, Europe and the Middle East from 5 February 2026.
