He’s a Leo
Arvid Lindblad was born on 8 August 2007 in Surrey, United Kingdom.
He’s half Swedish and Indian
His dad is of Swedish origin, while his mother is of Indian heritage. Quoted from Red Bull, Arvid expressed pride in his upbringing, “I’m very proud to be representing Great Britain, Sweden and India whenever I race. And I carry that with me everywhere, which is why I have all three flags as part of my helmet design, and I’ll continue to do so.”

He made his debut in the British national karting circuit at 8 Years Old
Arvid Lindblad is on a meteoric rise. He may have kick-started his journey at just eight years old, but the driver’s step into open-wheel racing in 2022 was what got him noticed. He was the youngest driver to win a Formula 3 race in 2024 and a Formula 2 race in 2025.
He always knew he wanted to be in F1.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Lindblad confessed to his encounter with McLaren F1 Driver Lando Norris at the Adria Karting Raceway in Italy in 2021.
“So I went straight up to Lando, and he was very kind about it. I said, ‘it was nice to meet you and see in five years’. I got inspired by Lewis Hamilton telling Ron Dennis [he would join McLaren] and it was a similar kind of vibe, so it was just my friend egging me on!”

He has an incredible support system
Apart from his parents, Lindblad’s mentor and manager, Formula E 2025 World Champion Oliver Rowland, has supported him every step of the way. Lindblad has known Rowland since he was seven, and the Formula E driver has been with the rookie through his transition from F4 to F3, and now in Formula 1.
He loves MotoGP and maths
In an interview with FIA Formula 2, the driver confessed that racing has taken over his life, but that education has always been an important part of his life. As maths is his favourite subject, he has mentioned that numbers and problem-solving are among his specialities.
On his break, his ideal way to unwind is spending time with friends and family. Apart from that, while staying true to his love for motorsport, Lindblad has shown an interest in MotoGP with his favourite riders being Marc Marquez, Pedro Acosta and Fabio Quartararo.
