Our Review of the LvPro Premium V Treatment at Number 76

The Violet Hair Fix

There is always a certain buzz when a group of beauty editors gathers for a treatment trial, and that was certainly the case when I arrived at the Number 76 Academy space. The room was already lively, with editors coming and going between consultations and stylists preparing for a full day of transformations.

We visited Number 76 to try LvPro’s Premium V Treatment, a salon service that smooths frizz, strengthens damaged hair and enhances colour tone.

What stood out immediately was how tailored the experience felt. Rather than a one size fits all approach, each appointment began with a consultation to understand both hair type and personal preferences. Some editors opted for LvPro’s more transformative services, including perming and straightening treatments. I tend to be slightly more cautious with my hair, particularly after colouring it, so I was looking for something that focused on improving condition rather than dramatically altering texture.

Following a careful assessment of my hair, which included discussion with the salon team as well as LvPro representatives who had travelled from Japan, the recommendation was the Premium V Treatment. Because my hair is coloured and occasionally prone to dryness, it seemed like the most suitable option. The treatment focuses on smoothing and strengthening the hair while also helping to subtly refine tone.

The “V” in the treatment refers to violet. Within the formula, violet pigment helps neutralise unwanted yellow tones that can appear after bleaching or colouring. By gently correcting those warmer notes, the treatment helps maintain cooler shades such as ash or milk tea tones, allowing colour to appear fresher and more balanced.

Beyond tone refinement, the treatment is designed as an all in one repair system. The formula works to strengthen the hair internally while smoothing the outer cuticle, helping to reduce frizz and improve manageability. Ingredients such as keratin and collagen help support the hair’s natural structure, while moisturising components including argan oil and botanical butters provide hydration and protection. Together they aim to restore softness, resilience and shine, particularly for hair that has been chemically treated.

The process itself is unhurried, allowing the treatment to properly penetrate the hair. Between the application, processing time and a tidy haircut at the end, the entire experience took around three hours. By the time the final blow dry was complete, the difference was easy to see.

My hair felt noticeably smoother, with frizz significantly reduced. The overall finish looked healthier too, with a soft shine and colour that appeared slightly brighter and more polished.

For those interested in trying it themselves, LvPro treatments are available across all Number 76 salons. Another salon we like for thoughtful, detail oriented hair services is Maldon Hair Salon, where you can also experience the Premium V Treatment.
