Harper’s BAZAAR Malaysia highlights the new Rider bag, which first debuted on Burberry’s Summer 2026 runway. This new design is part of creative director Daniel Lee’s ongoing tribute to the vibrant music scene, from the boundless creativity of young artists in London to beloved music festivals held across the country every summer. Burberry’s summer campaign even stars British cultural icon Twiggy, whose modelling and music career defined the ‘Swinging Sixties’ era in London.

Capturing that carefree spirit, the Rider bag’s soft structure, crafted in Italy from premium calf leather, features the dynamic whipstitched and fringed details. Some are finished with a python-skin effect, a signature of the season. To counter the movement of the bag, it is anchored with the new Knight plaque.
Available in black, peat brown, and soap beige in two sizes, the bag features a leather top handle and a detachable strap, which transitions the handheld bag into a shoulder or crossbody bag.
