Coachella’s Calling
Taking notes from the desert, Coachella has always been as much about the beauty as it is the music, and this year felt especially playful. Across the stages, artists leaned into looks that were expressive but still wearable, striking that sweet spot between fantasy and real life. From luminous skin to statement hair and eyes that did the talking, these moments felt less like one-off festival looks and more like ideas you could easily carry into your own routine next weekend and well beyond.
The new Coachella beauty take is refined and wearable, with looks that feel as good off stage as on it.
Go Blonde Like Yoonchae

KATSEYE’’s Coachella set was packed with surprises, and their hair was no exception. As global Matrix ambassadors, each member arrived with a distinct look, but it was Yoonchae who turned the most heads, swapping her dark locks for a striking platinum blonde with a fresh layered cut. Consider this your sign to take the plunge and go lighter.
Big on Blush with Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina’s Coachella glam, created by makeup artist Carolina Gonzales using Armani Beauty, leaned fully into her signature baby doll aesthetic. The star of the show was an as-yet-unreleased Armani Beauty blush, layered over a flawless Luminous Silk base. The colour sat high on the cheeks, almost wrapping around the face. The look was soft, flushed, and utterly feminine.
Sparkle Smokey Eyes with Addison Rae

Grammy-nominated Addison Rae brought serious pop star energy to the Coachella main stage, and her eye look matched every moment of it. A smoked-out black shadow met a thick, short wing, with silver and red glitter packed onto the lid. A white tightliner on the centre of the lower lash line and a single silver gem kept the look bright and wide-eyed.
Sunlit Glow like PinkPantheress

PinkPantheress brought a fresh-faced, lit-from-within glow to the desert, courtesy of make-up artist Julian Stoller and Benefit Cosmetics. The star of her look was the brand-new Juice Stick in shades Crystah and Foxxy, a gel-cream blush delivering sheer, dewy colour that is water-resistant and sweatproof. Not only perfect for that Coachella heat, but our climate too.
Rhinestoned Wing with Emilia Mernes

Instagram/@emiliamernes
Joining Luisa Sonza on the Gobi Stage, Emilia Mernes served one of the most eye-catching liner moments of the weekend. A bold silver and near-white wing was elongated dramatically outward, with rhinestones tracing its edge for maximum sparkle. Beneath it all, a graphic black cut crease added sharp contrast. It is definitely a statement, but you can scale it down easily. Even a single crystal or a softer metallic liner can bring that same energy into a night out look.
Alisha Azuddin
The Beauty Director at Harper’s BAZAAR Malaysia, Alisha first set her sights on a career in sports journalism before pivoting to beauty during her university years—and she’s stayed in that lane ever since. While her love for sports remains strong (these days, purely from the stands), she’s found her true calling in the beauty and wellness space. Equal parts storyteller and trend spotter, she believes that a good lip combo and a great skincare routine can change more than just your mood.
