For any fashion house, the appointment of a new creative director signifies the beginning of a fresh new chapter. British-born designer Maximilian Davis, has already caught the eyes of many with his debut collection for Ferragamo during Milan Fashion Week. Describing his design aesthetic as ‘Black elegance’, it was here he reintroduced Hollywood elegance with modern innovations. Carrying this trademark aesthetic, Ferragamo now introduces the new Ferragamo Sneakers for Spring/Summer 2023.
With his technical brilliance, the Italian luxury label has launched a new cutting-edge sneaker combining urban active shapes with sophistication. Made from a dynamic mix of textures, the new Ferragamo Sneakers carry function at its core. Durable stretch knit, nubuck and split leather is contrasted with the voids in the sole which guarantees maximum comfort.

Built with sustainability in mind, the knit of the upper part of the sneaker is made using 100% recycled post-consumer polyester yarn. The Fussbett bandage lining has been leather tested and verified to have been produced using a metal-free tanning process. Lastly, the strobel felt is made using 20% recycled pre-consumer polyester while sewing thread is made from 100%.
Adding a touch of traditional elegance, the graphic laces, Ferragamo logo, and hand-stitched accents are included. The most distinctive element of the sneaker is the sole which boasts the iconic Gancini emblem on a sequence of three tubular elements.
