Cartier Celebrates 100 Years Of Trinity With An Original Immersive Pop-Up

An ode to universality and love.

Marked by three intertwining bands and unmatched artistry, the Cartier Trinity has posed an illustrious heritage since its debut in 1924. With celebrations across New York, Paris and London, Cartier hosted three dazzling parties in fashion’s biggest capitals to honour 100 years of the icon. On this milestone, the celebrations continue with Cartier’s travelling pop-up making stops across the globe, in Shanghai, Singapore, Tokyo and finally, the United States.

An immersive experience, Cartier presents various rooms that spotlight this legend of jewellery. The exhibit explores different phases of the Trinity, where visitors embark on a journey through time and history. In a room dedicated to the magic of the number 3, uncover and explore its significance to the jeweller as the essence of the Trinity collection’s unmistakable silhouette, its allusions to the three Cartier brothers Louis, Pierre and Jacques and the Maison’s historic boutiques, in Paris, London and New York.

Another room in the pop-up is dedicated to Jean Cocteau, a French writer who famously adopted the piece in the 1930s and sported a signature of two Trinity rings stacked on his left little finger. A jewel that stands as a testament to the timeless craft and has remained a favourite transcending across several generations and backgrounds from royalty to film stars, Cartier honours wearers of the piece from Princess Grace Kelly of Monaco to Romy Schneider, Alain Delon and Timothée Chalamet.

Spread across four stages, the Trinity 100 pop-up will begin its journey in Shanghai from the 6th to the 28th of July, followed by Singapore from the 15th to the 23rd of July, before making its final stops in Tokyo and the United States in October and December, respectively.
