Brazilian Football Legend, Pelé Died At Age 82

The former national team player has won three World Cups for Brazil and was known as the greatest player of all time.⁠

On Thursday, Brazilian football legend, Pelé died at age 82 after battling various cancerous issues.

The passing of the global icon was confirmed on his Instagram in touching words, “Inspiration and love marked the journey of King Pelé, who peacefully passed away today. On his journey, Edson enchanted the world with his genius in sport, stopped a war, carried out social works all over the world, and spread what he most believed to be the cure for all our problems: love.”

Throughout his international career, he won three FIFA World Cups in the year of 1958, 1962, and 1970. Of all time, he has been regarded as the world’s greatest football player scoring 1,283 goals. Pele is a Brazilian legend, he has accomplished so much for Brazil and united people through football.
