This is part of the movement philosophy I’ve adapted over the years: Instead of doing a particular activity for an hour or two daily, it would make more sense to get a good diet of movement throughout the day. So even if you don’t make it to the gym, you aren’t lacking in your daily movement nutrition.

I now appreciate Mother Earth so much more and it reminds me that I need to be more vigilant in doing my part to preserve it.

From the moment I get up each morning, I make my bed and say “thank you” for the fact that I am alive and I get to experience another day. Then I meditate, read some spiritual teachings, maybe do some journaling, and have a simple breakfast. This is just what I’ve found that helps me stay connected to the deepest parts of my soul.
