Big brows

2010s beauty trends that defined the decade

Arguably the single biggest beauty trend of the decade can be credited (in part) to Cara Delevingne and her power brows. Over the last 10 years, eyebrows have gone from being an afterthought to a priority. A whole new category of brow make-up has boomed, with treatments – from threading and waxing to microblading and laminating – being booked as one would a manicure. Interestingly, while the decade has seen a nostalgic obsession with ‘90s style, the one trend not to re-emerge amongst the scrunchies, brown lipsticks and French manicures has been skinny brows.
