Reattune with the basics and start moving with Moovology, a practice that utilises interdisciplinary approaches to promote increased mobility and a more resilient body. “[Think] locomotions such as bear and lizard crawls, flexibility exercises, and strength work divided into upper and lower body cycles,” says Daryl Yap, one of the co-founders of Moovology. This revolutionary fitness movement is inspired by yoga, parkour, martial arts, and gymnastics, with a strong emphasis on spatial awareness. Currently, a weekly Moovology community class convenes on Saturdays. A 60-minute session promises to increase flexibility, and also helps in the development of a stronger mindset, psychology, and nervous system. No weights required; just show up, BYOB (bring your own body), and have fun.
