Bay Doucet explores Chloé’s latest olfactory expression—Cedrus Intense—alongside a refined new body care collection that brings scent into the rhythm of everyday ritual.
Fragrance, when done well, becomes more than a finishing touch—it becomes a signature. In her latest exploration with Chloé, Bay Doucet moves through quiet moments and subtle rituals, discovering the Maison’s new Cedrus Intense and expanded Atelier des Fleurs body care collection.
Rooted in the brand’s signature approach to understated elegance, Cedrus Intense builds on the legacy of the original Cedrus—a composition known for its warm, woody clarity. This deeper iteration, co-created by perfumers Quentin Bisch and Louise Turner, opens with notes of cardamom and bergamot before unfolding into a smoky heart of rose and cypriol. Its base—a trio of cedarwood, vetiver and sandalwood sourced from around the world—grounds the scent with a quietly powerful presence.
Complementing the fragrance is Chloé’s new body collection, which translates some of its most recognisable scents into sensorial formulas for skin. From sculptural soaps and hand creams to floral-infused shower gels and body lotions, the collection invites a more tactile way to experience scent—layered across skin, shaped by ritual.
Captured in a soft palette of light and texture, Bay moves through these rituals with ease, reflecting the effortless femininity that Chloé has long embodied. There is no overt performance here—just a sense of presence, of pausing to take in a scent, to appreciate the feel of cream on skin or the subtle diffusion of fragrance in the air.
It’s a reminder that true luxury often lies in the smallest gestures. With Cedrus Intense and the Atelier des Fleurs body care line, Chloé offers a new way to engage with scent.
