At the tender age of 19, British model Jean Campbell has achieved a lot since her fashion debut in a 2013 Burberry campaign. Fresh from the recent couture runways – which she walked with Kaia Gerber and Adwoa Aboah, her fashionable friends – Campbell has been unveiled as the face of Narciso Rodriguez’s newest fragrance, ‘for her’ Fleur Musc. Here she talks to Bazaar about her signature beauty look – that hair, those freckles – and how she stays in shape to combat her ongoing hip problems.
My must-have hair products are…
“My favourite hair product is the Leonor Grey hair mask. I find it the best reparative treatment for my long hair. How often I have it cut really depends… roughly every six months.”
To style my hair, I…
“Either I leave it down, in which case I leave it natural, or I also really like Sam McKnight’s Cool Girl texture mist; or I often tie it up in a bun, slicked back or just loosely done.”
My favourite fragrance is…
“I choose scent on the basis of what makes me feel good. I am currently using Narciso Rodriguez’s ‘for her’ Fleur Musc. I really love the smell of roses, as it embraces sensuality, invigorating a feeling of romance and delicacy to me. ‘for her’ Fleur Musc is a combination of refinement and allure but also modernity; I particularly like the heart of musc ingredient, which individualises the scent among other rose fragrances.”
In my day-to-day make-up bag you’ll find…
“The Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream, YSL Touché Eclat highlighting pen and Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes mascara.”
On my skin I use…
“I find the best product for my skin to be the Biologique Recherche toner. I don’t wear foundation at all.”
When it comes to my brows…
“I leave my brows untouched, but I like when make-up artists fill them out, and make them stronger.”

My beauty icon is…
“My beauty icon is probably Carmen Kass” [the original face of Narciso Rodriguez’s ‘for her’ fragrance].
The best beauty advice I’ve ever been given is…
“To drink water and be healthy.”
To stay in shape…
“I have a healthy balanced diet, so I eat a little bit of everything, except meat (I am pescetarian). I have had many difficulties with my hips so I cannot run… but I can use the elliptical to maintain fitness, whilst I also do Pilates, to have a stronger core, therefore supporting my problematic hips.”
