BAZAAR recently had the opportunity to sit down with Philips to discuss three exciting additions to Dior’s beauty line-up—the Dior Forever Hydra Glow Cushion, Dior Forever Glow Luminizer, and the newly reimagined Dior Addict Lip Glow.
Starting with the Dior Forever Hydra Glow Cushion, it is a fresh addition to Dior’s foundation range, combining high-performance make-up with an abundance of skincare benefits.“This cushion is perfect for the busy woman who wants a product that cares for her skin while delivering a healthy, luminous makeup result,” Philips shares. The standout feature of this cushion is its innovative mesh technology. “Unlike traditional cushions where the formula is soaked into a sponge, here the formula is captured under a mesh net with specific tension. This allows you to pick up just the right amount of product for a thin, even layer that blends effortlessly into the skin,” he explains. “It’s practical, refined, and offers a unique make-up result compared to classic cushions.”

Philips also took the time to introduce the newly launched Dior Forever Glow Luminizer, a highlighting powder crafted to enhance skin with a soft, luminous glow. Enter the Dior Forever Glow Luminizer, a product that reflects Dior’s focus on creating products that blend seamlessly into everyday routines while offering a polished, natural finish. This versatile highlighting powder is available in three finishes: Halo, Strobe, and Sequin. Each caters to different levels of radiance, from a subtle crystalline glow to bold, multidimensional sparkle.
“The Glow Luminizer adds the perfect touch of light to any look,” Philips explains. Its unique shimmer-gel technology seamlessly sits on the skin, creating a weightless, second-skin finish that reflects light beautifully. “Its versatile formula makes it easy to apply to areas like the cheekbones, nose bridge, and even the eyelids. It can be layered for intensity or diffused for a natural glow, depending on your preference.”
Philips emphasizes the importance of strategic placement and blending when applying the Glow Luminizer to achieve a natural, radiant look without appearing oily. However, achieving this new selection of shades took a lot more thought and time than your standard lip colours. “It’s been a long-standing challenge. Traditionally, pH-reactive products leaned towards cool undertones, often resulting in pink finishes. Cracking the code to introduce warm undertones took years of research and development. Our labs finally succeeded, allowing us to offer shades that adapt to a warm, yellow undertone while maintaining the iconic pH-reactive technology,” Philips admits. The result? A palette of 20 shades, including playful corals, luminous nudes, and bold berries. Enhanced with cherry oil and shea butter, the Lip Glow offers 48 hours of hydration, smoothing and revitalizing the lips with every application.
