No prizes for guessing what’s her favourite lipstick shade.

We’re only a month into 2024, but Han So-Hee is already making headlines. The last episode of her highly anticipated drama with Park Seo Joon, Gyeongseong Creature, aired on Netflix on January 5; with fans already looking forward to season two. This past week, she flew to Paris to attend the Dior Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2024 Collection show, sitting front row next to fellow house ambassadors Elizabeth Debicki and Anya Taylor.

We caught up with the Korean actress and Christian Dior Parfums Asia Pacific Ambassador in an exclusive interview to find out everything from her pared-down beauty routine to her favourite Dior Beauty essentials, as well as her most memorable moments from 2023, her aspirations for 2024. and the ethos that keeps her grounded amidst the whirlwind of stardom.

How does it feel to be appointed as the Christian Dior Parfums Asia Pacific Ambassador? 

Even before I became an ambassador, I’ve always related to the traits of a Dior Woman—sophisticated and daring. I am delighted and very honoured to work with the brand that I always loved.

What was the most memorable moment for you in 2023? 

I think it has to be the moment when we wrapped the shoot for Gyeongseong Creature. We shot the series for about two years, and I’ve got to spend the end of my 20s and beginning of my 30s during the shoot which is very special and memorable to me. I will remember the moments and the passion that I had for this series for a long time.

What’s your biggest wish for 2024?

I don’t really set or make new year’s resolutions. But I really would like to prioritise my sleep schedule, daily life, and work. I’d love to focus on these three important factors and fully live in the moment to have a fruitful year.

What’s your makeup routine like? 

I wear a full face of makeup every day due to my profession, so I tend to enjoy natural makeup with subtle points during my days off. That is why lip makeup—which is the final touch of the look—is so important to me. As much as I think lip makeup is important, I try to moisturise my lips well. I use Rouge Dior frequently, not only because of its gorgeous shades, but also for its lip-caring ingredients and moisturising feature.

If you could only choose one lipstick colour to wear for the rest of your life, what would it be and why? 

I love all colours but if I must choose one, I will choose red. I have pale skin and I tend to do natural makeup with a bold lip. I like red because it’s so universal. Red really completes the mood and the look when you use it on your lips, but also a bit on the cheeks!

What are your favourite beauty products from Dior?

I love Rouge Dior and Forever Skin Glow Cushion. Both have elegant and diverse shade palettes. And each packaging holds Dior House’s couture DNA, so it also doubles as a fashion accessory.
