Penhaligon’s recently unveiled their first ever store in Kuala Lumpur at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. And with the opening of their first standalone location, they’ve even exclusively brought down their latest Potions & Remedies collection. Which means the entire Penhaligon’s perfume roster is now available here.

To celebrate this feat, BAZAAR have invited a few of our Friends of BAZAAR to experience the store for themselves and to really take the time to try and play with each scent. The fun and enigmatic trio of Eyka Farhana, Azira Shafinaz and Shalma Aina made their way over to the store to gift one another a perfume they’d each thought would suit each other best. As best friends that know almost everything about one another, here’s how that afternoon went.

For Eyka

Eyka Farhana Penhaligon's

Eyka was stuck between a multitude of choices. A chameleon that appreciates all sorts of fragrance profiles, locking down just one fragrance was difficult. But in the end, her heart landed on The Favourite. With Azira and Shalma both agreeing that it’d be the perfect fit, you can understand why the fragrance is named The Favourite. Its versatile bouquet of mimosa, iris and musk is whimsical and sophisticated and perfectly transitions from day to night.

For Azira

Azira Shafinaz Penhaligon's

Azira prefers more body and sensuality to her fragrances. Which made it easy for Shalma and Eyka to narrow down their choices to the Trade Routes collection. Settling on Babylon as her final choice, Azira loves the majestic and warm notes of this fragrances, as well as its seductive undertone too.

For Shalma

Shalma Aina, Penhaligon's

Shalma is a classic gal, and having been a previous fan of Penhaligon’s, she wanted to stick to more heritage scents. After bouncing between a selection of perfumes, it was Halfeti that spoke to her most. A deep, aromatic blend of bergamot, rose and oud, this captivating fragrance is indulgent, seductive and rich.
