It’s been a moment since Fenty Beauty launched some newness—we’ve almost finished our entire Mattemoiselle lipstick tube. The wait was worth it: Rihanna just teased a new Fenty product called Body Lava, and the beauty world is once again buzzing.
Body Lava appears to be a shimmering body oil available in two shades. One is a deep, golden bronze shade and the other is a lighter champagne glitter. If the liquid oils are anything like the Fenty Beauty Killawatt highlighter in Trophy Wife, you can expect a blinding, out-of-the-galaxy glow. Body oils shot-through with golden shimmer are perfect for hydrating skin and blurring imperfections all at once.

Rihanna first posted an Instagram story introducing Body lava, then admitted that she’s been a little too keen on testing them. “Mine are almost empty,” she wrote.
Body Lava marks the first time the brand is launching into the body category, though Fenty fans have been busy dousing themselves in the highlighters ever since they launched. The packaging for the new oils looks similar to the best-selling Fenty Beauty foundations, but the product itself reminds us of the cult-favorite Nars Monoi Body Glow. The Nars product is heavily-scented like a tropical island, and we can imagine that the Barbados-born superstar will likely have taken the same route.
No word yet on the price, scent, or launch date—but we’ll update this post as soon as we know more.
