Undoubtedly the wedding of the year, the royal nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made headlines across the globe in May. They got married at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, with the bride wearing that Givenchy wedding dress designed by Clare Waight Keller.

The second royal wedding of the year saw Princess Eugenie marry her long-term partner Jack Brooksbank, also at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. She proudly wore a Peter Pilotto gown with a low back, to show her scar from childhood surgery.

Gwyneth Paltrow married Brad Falchuk in September, having first met on the set of Glee in 2010. Despite announcing their engagement via Paltrow’s Goop magazine, they then kept their wedding very private, only sharing a snapshot of their Hamptons ceremony on Instagram.
4. Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas

The most extravagant wedding of 2018 goes hands-down to Priyanka and Nick. The couple recently tied the knot at the beginning of December, officially getting married at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur (in custom Ralph Lauren with a 70-foot veil) but the celebrated over several days in India. The bride wore at least 8 bridal outfits (that we know of) during the course of the celebrations.
5. Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner

Karlie Kloss secretly married Joshua Kushner at a quiet ceremony in October that had less than 80 guests. They’re known for keeping their relationship private, so it came as little surprise to find that their nuptials were similarly hush-hush. The model bride wore a classic lace Dior gown to say her vows.
6. Chiara Ferragni and Fedez

Chiara Ferragni, also known as fashion blogger The Blonde Salad, married rapper Fedez in September, in one of the most influential weddings of the year. The bride walked down the aisle in a bespoke Dior Haute Couture dress designed by Maria Grazia Chiuri. She later changed into a second Dior dress (pictured), this time a bespoke tulle evening gown with the couple’s ‘love story’ stitched into the garment. She later removed the voluminous skirt to reveal a third mini dress for the evening reception.
7. Emily Ratajkowski and Sebastian Bear-McClard

Emily Ratajkowski was arguably the most low-key celebrity wedding of the year. She broke the news of her intimate New York City Hall wedding to producer and actor Sebastian Bear-McClard by posting a picture on Instagram. She didn’t opt for a traditional white gown either, instead wearing a yellow mustard Zara suit and a black wide-brim hat with a veil.
8. AnneLaure Mais and Edouard Moreau

One of our favourite French fashion influencers, Adenorah, married Edouard Moreau at the end of the summer. As to be expected, she wore various chic dresses, including a Pronovias dress for the civil ceremony, a Wednesday Atelier gown for a formal ceremony and then later a fun mini-dress from Magda Butrym for the evening party.
9. Emma Rosenzweig

One of our favourite 2018 wedding moments saw Emma Rosenzweig, Danish actress and face of Balenciaga, redefining bridal style. The bride walked down the aisle in a sheer lace gown revealing her lilac underwear. The finishing touch was an over-sized straw hat by Jacquemus.
10. Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth

A late contender for wedding of the year came over Christmas, when Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth said their vows after a two-year engagement. The bride wore an elegant Vivienne Westwood gown for the intimate nuptials, which took place in her hometown of Nashville.
