Malaysia’s Most Stylish Women 2018

Ending this 15th anniversary year on a high, Harper’s BAZAAR Malaysia celebrates 15 style trailblazers in the most spectacular Malaysia’s Most Stylish Women project to date, featuring inspirational women who continue to challenge the status quo. BAZAAR’s leading ladies live out their most surreal experiences through dreamy transformations, captured in the spirit of Man Ray, Kiki de Montparnasse, and Salvador Dalí, in a three-day fashion fantasy at the glamorous Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur.

A woman’s intuition is her most attractive trait yet.” – Datin Meera Sen

The art collector, former ballet dancer, and current executive director of Malaysia’s leading tile manufacturer has a hidden talent: rapping. “I’ll do it, if you do it!” she cheekily suggests to yours truly, a sparkle in her eye glinting over candlelight at BAZAAR’s Black Fantasy dinner during the three-day staycation at The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur. Such is Meera’s effervescent personality, which extends to her keen eye for detail and sense of style. “To me, style encompasses confidence where we can express our inner thoughts, moods, personal interests, and values outwardly,” shares Meera. Case in point: the Dior Book tote she brings on set calls to mind her bold yet sensible nature, while her collection of rainbow-hued shoes (think pastel Gucci brogues) speaks of her vibrant life—this being the same powerhouse who spearheaded projects for the Battersea Power Station and the BBC in London, in pure Technicolor.
