After a month of shows, the autumn/winter 2019 catwalk season has drawn to a close – and with it comes a whole host of new trends to have on your radar. While bright and sunny yellows seem to be the colour of the new season, feathers are certainly the fancy touch you'll be adding to your wardrobe. Enormous bags were everywhere, shoulders got the puffy treatment and the bucket hat had a very luxurious makeover.

8 Deconstructed Knitwear

Next season, it will be all about knots on knits, with several designers showing deconstructed, tied-up knitwear on the catwalk. t Burberry, Riccardo Tisci tied up a rugby-jersey style dress, while Hellessy and Tibi tied jumpers upon jumpers. Meanwhile, at JW Anderson, there was chunky, oversized, knotted knitwear cinched in with a belt.
