There will come a pointe–pun intended–when the girls will stop obsessing over balletcore designs; but as for now, it is nowhere in sight. Adidas is one of the many sportswear brands to incorporate ballet-inspired elements into its iconic designs, with the Taekwondo Mei Ballet, Stan Smith Lo Pro Ballet, and the Samba Jane. This month, Adidas adds to its beloved Samba Jane footwear line with a refined new design in two new colourways, Cloud White/Core Black and Cream/Mauve, exclusive to Southeast Asia at JD Sports.

For those who don’t know, the Adidas Samba Jane—first launched in 2025— combines the sporty T-toe and 3-Stripes design of the 1950s Adidas Samba trainer with the demure, strap-driven elements of the classic Mary Jane shoe. The result is an instant icon and a main player in the global sneakerina trend.
In this latest iteration, Adidas preserves the signature T-toe suede overlays, streamlined terrace sole and the signature strap across the top of the foot. It also introduces delicate leather ruffles on the trim to complement the serrated 3-strips design. Look closely, and you will also find a delightful heart-shaped charm hanging off the back of the shoe.
Launching on 9 March 2026, these shoes are a must-have for fashion enthusiasts looking to infuse a feminine yet sporty shoe into their everyday look.
