Mini handbags may have been on the catwalks for the past few seasons, but Jacquemus has given us the tiniest one yet. The French designer kicked off Paris Fashion Week with his autumn/winter 2019 show and introduced us to the latest micro accessory, the aptly named “Mini Le Chiquito” bag.
It’s an even smaller version of his popular “Le Say Chiquito” bag, which measures just 10cm x 8cm, and has a celebrity fan base including Rihanna and Kim Kardashian.

The collection, “La Collectionneuse”, boasted relaxed blazers, floaty summer dresses in different lengths and chunky turtlenecks all in summer hues of pinks, greens, blues and yellows.
The offering played with proportions, featuring oversized totes as an alternative to the micro styles. Although the compact bag might not be the most practical, it certainly has everyone talking.
