The French fashion house transported show attendees from a snowy Paris into the summery, sun-filled 18th Century Villa Chanel, complete with blue skies and palm trees. And, as ever, the collection echoed the spectacular show setting, with models wearing Marie Antoinette-inspired dresses, sequins, feathers and intricately embroidered creations. The finale look was a bride wearing an embellished swimsuit and matching swim cap over her veil – proof, yet again, that Lagerfeld knows how to win the Instagram game.
