Versace

For the Versace Spring/Summer ’20 collection, creative director Donatella Versace offered a multitude of tailored pieces ranging from figure-hugging dresses with cinched waists to embellished suit jackets. The silhouette of the season contrasted powerful shoulders with feminine forms, like boxy jackets paired with short miniskirts and crop tops. This was then punctuated with a remix of tropical prints in green, pink, and orange hues. As for the finale, Versace “broke the internet” as pop icon J. Lo took the runway in an updated version of her jungle dress from the 2000 Grammy Awards. The modified gown was sleeveless, but just as iconic as it was 20 years ago.
