Earlier this week, KL-ites were treated to a one-of-a-kind luxury lifestyle experience to hit the city – the arrival of the Dior Café. Last seen in Singapore in October and famously known to pop up around the world, the cafe merges fashion and a refined gourmet destination for its stylish patrons.
Located on level five at the Colony, Star Boulevard KLCC, the co-working office was reimagined into a chic Parisian sanctuary for five days only. Inspired by the beauty and elegance of the Cruise 2022 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the venue was dressed exquisitely in classic hues of white and beige, and divided into two – one being the collection show space fashioned after a French salon, which gloriously displays the season’s offerings for your viewing and shopping pleasure, and the other – the main attraction – is the café experience.
Aside from the picturesque space and the remarkable rooftop cafe overlooking the city skyline, one of the many highlights of this week-long affair was the café menu curated by the one and only Chef Raymond Tham, Co-Founder and Executive Chef at Beta. Offering a selection of exclusive Greek cuisine inspired by the collection, as well as those that reflect the spirit of the House, the menu consists of both savoury and sweet dishes such as the Semolina and Pistachio Cake with Tahini Cream and the Chocolate Pain de Genes with Greek Coffee – truly a delight for the senses!
