Fendi unveils a new site specific artwork by Italian artist Giuseppe Penone, entitled Foglie di Pietra, in Largo Goldoni in Rome, opposite Palazzo Fendi. The sculpture features two bronze trees, approximately 18 and 19 metres tall with an interlace of their branches lifting up a marble block five metres from the ground. Fendi renews its deep appreciation for Rome by gifting to the city and the public an important artwork, which celebrates the relativity of the architectural piece as a deep synthesis between the flowing of natural and human time in a longing sense of nostalgic Romanticism.
