Inside The Ralph Lauren Shaw Centre Store’s 10th Anniversary

It’s the American dream

A man from the Bronx, Ralph Rueben Lifshitz, has been weighed down by constant disappointments, embracing deeply, nurtured love and finding the American dream between the folds of everyday life. Today, the fashion designer is one of the most prominent figures in the world—all thanks to his eponymous fashion house, Ralph Lauren.

Founded in 1967, Ralph Lauren has introduced ties, menswear and womenswear, jutting skywards with success and his quiet luxury style. So, it’s no surprise to see cosy and low-lit with wood-panelled walls stores splattered with oil paintings across the globe. One that is making a milestone this year is the Shaw Centre Polo Ralph Lauren store in Singapore. With mahogany staircase, framed artworks and a space filled to the brim with collared shirts, vintage bags and varsity jackets, the store celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.

To celebrate the momentous anniversary, Ralph Lauren hosted an exclusive screening of Very Ralph at an art gallery and a soirée at the Shaw Centre store.

Here’s everything you need to know about the 10th anniversary celebration:

 Ralph Lauren Shaw Centre

Starting with a cultural perspective, Ralph Lauren hosted a screening of Very Ralph at the beautiful Eureka Griffin Club. Directed and produced by award-winning documentarian Susan Lacy, Very Ralph illustrates the tale of Ralph Lauren and how he defined American style through archival footage, interviews and behind-the-scenes glimpses of his day-to-day life as a fashion designer and a father. Heartfelt, inspiring and intriguing, the documentary welcomes viewers into the world of Ralph Lauren with ease. “What I do is about living. It’s about living the best life you can and enjoying the fullness of life around you—from what you wear, to the way you live, to the way you love,” said Ralph Lauren.

What made it even more alluring was the transformation of Eureka Griffin Club—mimicking Ralph Lauren’s home—that enhanced the ambience. The screening even welcomed celebrities such as Ryujin from ITZY, Miles Wei, WinWin, Jitaraphol Potiwihok (Jimmy) and Tawinan Anukoolprasert (Sea) and Indonesian singer Tiara Andini to celebrate the life and vision of Ralph Lauren.

Offering a more intimate portrait of Ralph Lauren’s remarkable journey, philosophies, milestones and pioneering spirit that have shaped his legacy, the brand also welcomed us to Polo Ralph Lauren’s store at Shaw Centre to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

As guests explored the meticulously curated space, they weren’t simply browsing collections; they were stepping into Ralph Lauren’s world, where classic Americana meets English elegance, where prairie romance coexists with preppy refinement, and where old Hollywood glamour feels eternally relevant. Regal, cosy and chic, the store itself—with its warm timber panelling evoking the charm of an upstate New York cabin—embodies the very philosophy that has defined Ralph Lauren for decades: creating immersive environments that tell a story beyond clothing. It’s as if you’re in a cabin somewhere in upstate New York.
