It’s all about being chic comfortably
Practical, comfortable and chic, the Tory Burch Fall Winter 2025 collection served classic and subversive sartorial pieces that were inspired by American sportswear. From classic rugby shirts to Japanese brushed-jersey track pants and long-sleeved zip-neck sweatshirts, the whole collection sent a message that this season is all about reworking the classics into our wardrobe—learning how to identify them and twisting them.
Showcased inside the Museum of Modern Art, Tory Burch’s newest collection also highlighted full suits with shoulder pads, off-the-shoulder hourglass dresses, exaggerated pleated ensembles and volumed coats. On the accessories end, there were also snippets of reimagined Pierced and Balloon bags as well as elongated boots, shoulder-grazing chains and whimsical mouse earrings. Bold, classic and twisted, the collection and show were beautifully dotted with brown and blue hues that speak to the soul of the autumn solstice.
“Twisted American sportswear. A second glance at classics: prim cardigans are slashed through the sleeves; sweatpants are knit in Japanese brushed jersey; sweaters are embroidered to look like tweed. A wardrobe collected over time, where each piece becomes irreplaceable: the perfect blazer, a favourite dress, a worn-in sweatshirt. Women are defining ‘classic’ for themselves,” said Tory Burch.about the Fall Winter 2025 collection.
