Thai actor Joong Archen at Bonia’s new store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur

On 30 January 2026, Joong Archen made his debut appearance as the brand muse for Southeast Asian brand, Bonia. He arrived at Bonia’s latest concept store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur to great fanfare, with loyal fans gathering outside for hours for just a glimpse of the Thai actor and style icon. He was joined by Malaysian celebrities, including Daiyan Trisha, Alicia Amin, Sharifah Rose, and May Ho. 

Bonia’s Executive Vice Chairman and Group CEO Dato Seri Daniel Chiang and Chief Creative and Marketing Officer Datin Sri Linda Chen were also among the brand’s management team who came to greet Joong at the store. “Celebrated for his charismatic presence and refined sensibility, Joong Archen embodies the spirit of contemporary masculinity that resonates deeply with Bonia’s design philosophy—where confidence is effortless, style is intuitive, and craftsmanship remains at the core,” writes the brand. 

After Joong’s store visit, a handful of lucky fans were given the opportunity to meet the Thai star. The public was also  invited to explore Bonia’s new store and its interactive elements, such as Find The Jono. Available until 10 February 2026, it is a 3D-layered paper craft store with hidden Jono bags; visitors who manage to share the right number of Jono bags inside the store on their Instagram win a special prize. Needless to say, it was an exciting day in Kuala Lumpur and the perfect way to start the long weekend.
