Style for the Office

Styling tips for your 9-to-5.

Before we enter 2025, there is somehow always a pressure to change something about ourselves—for the better. And to feel the part, you have to look the part. To help you prepare for the new year, we have curated a list of new and fun ways of styling that you can actually apply to the office. That way, you might even save some extra time to sleep in and walk to work with a bounce in your step.

Here’s your guide to styling chic for the office in 2025:

Scarves

An underrated statement piece, there are countless ways to style a scarf. Whether as a knot under your shirt collar, in your hair or through the belt loops of your pants, these shapeshifters can add a refreshing pop of colour and texture to your look.

Brooches

From blazers to shirts and vests, there are lots of buttons when it comes to workwear. To make these common pieces of office wear a bit more interesting, pin on a chunky stud earring or hair clips through a few buttonholes for extra bling and pizzazz.

Cardigan

Cardigans have become a loyal staple for many. It is also especially useful for keeping warm in the workplace while the aircon is at full blast. Try a new style with this outerwear—buttoned, unbuttoned, over the shoulder, as a base layer, or on backwards for an elegant feel. Putting it over a button-up shirt is also extra useful when it comes to hiding those creases.

Menswear-Inspired

When in doubt, look toward menswear. A classic tee underneath a breezy button-up shirt with a pair of pleated wide-leg trousers will promise you comfort and effortless style through the long hours. To go a step further, add a tie for a classy finish—very Saint Laurent SS25.
