The Fendirumi Piro-Chan and Bug Kun take on Singapore! Last seen front rowing at Fendi Autumn/Winter ’16, the two meters of Fun Fur that they are were spotted jet setting from London to Hong Kong, New York and Los Angeles all year. They were created in 2015 in homage to the playful Japanese Kigurumi (a combination of two Japanese words – kiru (to wear) and nuigurumi (stuffed toy)). “The Japanese pop culture and the Kigurumi-mania gave me the idea of having two Fendi mascots… the Fendurumi, as they perfectly embody the Fendi fun spirit,” explains Silvia Venturini Fendi about the inspiration behind the creation of Piro-Chan and Bug-Kun. In the spirit of all things fabulously fun, the Fendirumi are bringing the party to the Lion City to celebrate the reopening of the Fendi store at Marina Bay Sands. Stay tuned for more furry fun!
