5 minutes with Thai actor, Phuwin Tang.

Phuwin Tang makes a short trip to Singapore to see Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2026 up close.
One must see, touch and feel Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection in real life to truly comprehend the level of care that creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez have poured into their debut collection for the Spanish fashion house. “The collection employs a visual language of reduced, sometimes sculptural forms and elemental colour, drawn from sportswear archetypes and often expressed through the medium of leathercraft. These forms are animated by a sensuality and fervour that rearticulates Loewe’s heritage,” explains the pair.
Among the selected few who were given the opportunity to experience Loewe’s new collection in-person was Thai actor Phuwin Tang. He was invited to Singapore for an exclusive preview.
BAZAAR speaks to Phuwin Tang about his thoughts about Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection and his favourite pieces.

Phuwin Tang, known for his roles on Fish Upon the Sky (2021) and Never Let Me Go (2022), he was glad for the functional pieces that have been presented this season, such as the parkas and windbreakers. A hit when it debuted on the runway for its unique take on layering, these outerwear pieces are also ultra-functional, made from waterproof technical material. The layers of shirts can be removed accordingly, each sporting a different striped pattern. “It’s great for people who love to be outdoors,” he comments.

Held in Singapore, Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection preview replicated the Loewe showroom from Paris Fashion Week.
“But that’s on the wearability side,” he says, adding, “As for impressiveness [in craft and creativity], I would point to the leatherwork on the jacket and trousers; it looks like fur, but it’s actually leather!”
Tang points to McCollough and Hernandez’s determined showcase of Spanish leatherwork in their latest creations, treating, shredding and skiving the material to create new textures, some that may deceive the eye at first glance.

Loewe’s new direction–sophisticated, elegant, and relaxed–matches up perfectly with Tang’s personal style. The Thai actor is known for his casual but elevated ensembles when jet-setting around the world for professional engagements and off-duty adventures. In this preview of Loewe’s Spring/Summer 2026 collection, it is clear that Tang has already set his sights on the pieces he will be wearing all season.
