The black-and-white collection segued through signature shapes and silhouettes, culminating in a series of gowns with intricate gold and silver embroideries, models donned flat nonchalant sandals which carried an easy luxe amidst their opulent ensembles. This Autumn/Winter 2016/2017 assemblage is the fourth collection by interim design heads Lucie Meyer and Serge Ruffieux. The show was held at Dior’s Haute Couture salon at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris, the location of Christian Dior’s first show in 1947 and the home to all of Dior’s couture operations and ateliers.
Newly signed Dior makeup spokeswoman Bella Hadid walked in the show in a black deep V dress.
